Fort Worth Youth Enterprise Program (FWYEP)

Da Village a comprehensive youth development program, designed for the purpose of keeping youth off the streets, and involved in drugs, alcohol and gangs, through education and economic empowerment, has collaborated with the FWMBCC to bring Fort Worth, its first Youth Entrepreneurship Program.
This youth entrepreneurship program is a hands on activity based program, teaching the fundamentals of leadership and how to start and operate a small business. By the time participants finish the 8 week training session, they will have negotiated with a wholesaler, opened a bank account, registered there business, designed flyers and business cards, and sold products at an open market (trade fair).
